Downloading and Installing The Archive Demo
Follow the steps below to download and install The Archive demo. This demo is good for both the Platinum and Titanium Editions of The Archive. Be sure that you have administrator rights before installing this demo.
Step 1
Using the link below, download and unzip the file called Archive_Demo.zip to your hard drive. The demo file is 400MB in size. NOTE! Extracting the files in The Archive demo should take less than 5 minutes, however because there are more than 30,000 image files contained in the demo, the extraction process can take a considerable amount of time on slower computers using the default Windows compression program. In these cases, extraction times can exceed 30 minutes. We highly recommend using a program like WinZip (www.winzip.com) to extract the files.
Step 2
Once the files have been extracted, you should have a new folder called The Archive Demo. Open this folder and double-click the file called SETUP.EXE. Follow the prompts in the setup utility. NOTE! Do not delete this folder after installation as it contains the thumbnail preview images of the models in The Archive.
Step 3
Once the installation is complete you can run the program. If you do not see thumbnail images of the models, click the Help tab and follow the directions under Select Preview Folders.
